TRUSTING THE PROCESS: CONTENTMENT THROUGH ADVERSITY

Judge Feedback:

“Team was a little late to their presentation. Very good application of the theme through the campaign, Through the Looking Glass. It steered away from the ordinary interviews of what humility means to members. The team also delved into a theme effectively through a more connected application that was interconnected with the Muslim identity. “

“Very user friendly and easily navigable. Presentation was spot on and well organized. Loved the IG campaign about embracing our realities, idea was so unique. Amazing job!”

“I was very impressed with the presentation quality. Everything felt on point, and was well polished. Even the theme wasn't forced onto us, but still present enough for us to see, especially through the looking glass project, it could've been a little bit more specific on how it relates to us as students but still a good job. And just the way you connected everything with the site and presentation was really smooth, it's hard to find any criticism, keep up the good work!”

The Honor of Humility: Finding Dignity in Challenging Pride

Judge Feedback:

“I loved the setup of the Instagram page and blog! Theme connection was deeply correlated and posts were very original. Content was unique and surpassed the criteria. Excellent job!”

“The team was very professional in their written statement and presentation. The team did not finish on time; however, they did have a lot more things to cover. The team did a tremendous job at the instagram campaign and also did a great job at applying the theme through articles that focused on humility through different ways. “

“This was a really great website and presentation. I loved the way the theme was presented, especially with the focus on high school Stuyvesant students rather than a general Muslim connection. The blog posts were great too, its very hard to find any criticism. The presentation ended with the time running out, but all the content was still presented. “

THE HONOR OF HUMILITY: FINDING DIGNITY IN CHALLENGING PRIDE

Judge Feedback:

“The idea about informing us about what humility in the Quran was very unique. Looks like a lot of work was put into this, great work!”

“The team did a great job with creating the blog and went above and beyond with adding HTML, CSS, and Jquery on certain elements of the site. They did a decent job with applying the theme through the articles. However, the social media presence could have been better if there was a more unique approach to applying the theme rather than asking people about humility. Overall, great job!

Tips: Try to think about how your team could be more unique in applying the theme differently. Also make sure to publish all of your content in advance.  “

“This was a really great presentation with so so many details. It's hard to find criticism in the site, and the whole Instagram campaign including different speakers and people off the street and even teachers about what thoughts they have about humility. Even the things not relating to theme was well put like the color of the website.”

The Valor of Mercy: Summoning The Strength of Compassion

Judge Feedback:

“A little more description on social media platforms. Website is clean but needs to keep the viewer interested. Presentation should be spread out better through each speaker.”

“Social Media Quality: The blogs were strong and the acronym SOBS is pretty clever.

Presentation: Strong presentation. Straight to the point and I understood the application of the theme. However, it could focus more on each social media. It was super rushed and it would be great if you focused on that.

Application of Theme: Good use of theme. It was straight to the point and clear how you applied the theme across your platforms (especially YouTube).

Blog quality: Strong blogs and I like the letter to yourself segment.”

“The theme was clear and successfully carried out by their social media pages. The presentation did run a little long, but the team work was very commendable. The written statement is a bit long too but very well written. Great job! “
